He is willing; be healed!

Mark 1:40

“…If You are willing, You can make me clean.”

The leper believed in the healing power of the Messiah but he also thought He heals only if He feels like. That is why he (the leper) said “if You are willing”.

The answer by the Messiah gave both the leper and all of us an understanding that He is willing. He is the same yesterday, today and forever! As He was willing to heal the leper, He is willing to heal you today.

At the time when Jesus Christ was on earth; it was still not quite clear to most of the people that this was the Healer, the Son of God who came that we may not suffer but have abundant life (John 10:10).

After His death and resurrection we now know that He is the One the prophet Isaiah prophesied of saying “But He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities…and by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-6 ).

He went to the Cross, felt the excruciating pain as He took our illnesses, diseases, exchanging these with divine healing! What “greater love than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13).

Therefore if you are sick, do not say it is the will of God for you to be sick; it is not! He did not create you in His image to see you suffer! You are an apple of His eye! He delights in you! His Son did not go to the Cross for nothing! He wants you healed! It is the devil who came to steal, kill and destroy! Do not allow him!

Jesus has played His part; He took your sickness and gave you divine healing. Play your part- by faith receive your healing; continuously declaring – “By His stripes I were healed!.” Yes, believe and say it even if you do not feel healed – “This sickness is not unto death but it is for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.

Are you willing not only to receive healing in your body but also to receive eternal life. Healing of your body is good and scriptural but it is only for this age. But there is more; through His Son, God gave us the right to become His children, the right to live with Him forever! Halelluyah! Is not that Good News!

What to do

Believe in Jesus. Believe that He is your Lord and Saviour; that He died for your sins and He rose again. Say it with your mouth and you will be saved! Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit and start enjoying your daily walk with God! (Romans 10:9 & Luke 11:13).

Spiritual prison

People who are in jail are aware of the dark place they are in and they can do anything to get out, to be free and have life.

It is worse if one is walking freely outside the prison, but in a true sense is spiritually imprisoned. What makes it worse is that the one spiritually imprisoned is blinded by the devil and is not aware of the chains around his/her body. He is not aware what lies ahead is eternal death!

That is the reason those whose eyes have been enlightened need to preach the Good News without ceasing. Getting our brothers and sisters out of the spiritual chains is our daily mission.

Through your preaching and sharing the Word of God, one sinner may repent and be saved. If that happens, guess what – you have brought joy in the presence of the angels of God, (Luke 15:10).

The reason we share the Word is that God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Who can do this but those who are the ambassadors of Christ Jesus, who are His mouth, hands and feet and that is who you are!

If you confess with your mouth that you believe Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, you will be saved from the chains of the devil and receive eternal life.

Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit and start enjoying real life.

Let us be the hands of Jesus

As we offer sacrifices of praise to God, let us not forget to do good and to share; especially during this time when a number of people have lost their jobs, some have their companies closed down whilst others have become orphans or widows due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Let the love of God that is in our hearts be evident through our doings.

If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, ‘Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,’ but you do not give them the things which are needed, what does it profit?” (James 2:15-16).

Let us be the hands of Jesus.

Those who gives to the needy lends to the Lord and He will pay him what ge has given.

for I was hungry and you gave Me food; … I was naked and you clothed Me.” (Matthew 25:35,36).

Remember God loves you very much. He sent His Son who wants to share eternity with you.

Just believe in your heart that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, confess your belief with your mouth.

Your confession is the beginning of your wonderful walk with God.

Continue to read and meditate on the Word and you will begin to experience His power working in you and through you.

Ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit and begin to speak in the heavenly language.

He arose with our mess.

The bull for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be carried outside the camp.  And they shall burn in the fire their skins, their flesh and their offal” (Leviticus 16:27).

Also you shall a place outside the camp … and you shall have an implement… and you shall dig with it and turn and cover your refuse” (Deuteronomy 23:12-13).

This having taken place in the Old Testament was a shadow of what was going to happen when Jesus the Annointed One was crucified outside the gate.  God took all our mess and buried Jesus Christ with it. On the third day He arose without our mess, having sanctified us with His own blood.

Therefore let us go forth to Him outside the camp. ” Therefore let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name” (Hebrews 13:13,15).

Jesus Christ took our mess, He took our sins and gave us His righteousness.  It is now the responsibility of each and everyone of us to receive such a beautiful gift of salvation.

If you believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins, let this prayer come from your heart:

“Father God thank You for sending Your only begotten Son to come and die for my sins.

Jesus Christ I believe You died for my sins and You resurrected from death.  Because You conquered death and resurrected, I now have eternal life.  I thank You for such a gift and today I receive You as my Lord and Saviour.

Fill me with the Holy Spirit evidenced with speaking the heavenly language”.  (open your mouth and start speaking as the Spirit gives you utterance).

If you have just prayed this prayer, there is joy in the presence of the angels over you.  The Holy Spirit now dwells in you.

Continue to spend time with God, in that way your relationship with Him will continue to grow.

Thank you!

With you nothing is impossible

This is who you are:

You were made in the image and according to the likeness of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26);

You have power and authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 9:1 & 10:19);

The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you (Romans 8:11) and His working works in you mightly (Colossians 1:29).

If you are born of God, if you are His child and with your Father nothing is impossible; that means through Him, nothing is impossible with you!  As Jesus is, so you are in this world.

This being who you are, tells that you have been supernaturally empowered to perform the miracles through Christ.

Peter believed this.  He believed  nothing was impossible with him through Christ.  That is why he told the 40 year old man who was lame from  his mother’s womb to “rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6; 4:22).  That is why he brought Tabitha back to life as he prayed and said “Tabitha, arise!” (Acts 9:40).

Paul did the same when he raised a young man who fell from the third story and died (Acts 20:9-10).

No relative, colleague or neighbour of yours can remain ill, can be bed-ridden or be a playground of evil spirits when you have been supernaturally empowered to heal the sick and to cast out demons!  Through Christ, nothing will ever be impossible with you!  When the demons see you they tremble saying Jesus we know and you we know!  You have been given the power to change the world🔥🔥🔥

Preach the Word to your relative, your colleague or your neighbour (faith comes by hearing) and pray for their healing and deliverance.

Do it for the glory of God!

You may have someone sick in your family, neighbourhood or at the workplace whom you would like to see being healed or delivered.

For you to help them and to do much more; you need to have the resurrection power, the healing power in you!

The only way to have this supernatural power is to personal and intimate relationship with God through Christ.  You need to be born of God.

As you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour; you are immediately delivered from the power of darkness, from eternal death to eternal life. At that moment you become a new creature, all the old things, the sinful life you were living before passes away; all things become new!💪

If you want to have this relationship with God, say this prayer:

Prayer of Salvation

“Father God I thank You for loving me so much that You gave Your only begotten Son that if I believe in Him, I will not perish but will have everlasting life.

I come before You in repentance, please forgive me of all my sins.  Wash me, cleanse me Lord!

I confess my belief in You Christ Jesus and I accept You as my Lord and Saviour!  Walk with me as I begin my new life as a child of God!

Fill me with the Holy Spirit evidenced with speaking the heavenly language.  The language that will confuse the enemy whilst helping to build me up on my most holy faith” (Jude 20).

Heaven is rejoicing over you!

If you have prayed this prayer, you have just defeated the devil.  He no longer has a stronghold over you! Heaven is rejoicing over you!  Yes just you!  Your decision means a lot to God as His lost son/daughter has come back home💪💃

Do you feel the heaviness? Praise Him🙏

It normally starts as a little concern which gradually grows to become a worry that visits your mind from time to time; before you know it, there will that heaviness in your heart.

The Bible tells us heaviness is a spirit.  It is that silent killer called depression.

If heaviness or depression is a spirit than fight it with the spiritual weapon of praise.  Praise help us to focus on who God is, on His greatness and His love for us.

At times you will be so down, not even feeling like praising God.  That negative feeling alone is an indication that you are at war.  It is the very reason that must make you to lift up your voice in praises or to play those beautiful songs of praise, even if you do it with your eyes full of tears.

As you continue to praise, God who dwells in the holy place where praises are offered (Psalm 22:3) will give you His peace that surpasses all understanding; His peace will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Do not allow the spirit of satan to try and rob you of your joy and health.

You are more than a conqueror! You are a winner in Jesus Christ! Continue to praise Yahweh-rapha! Resist the devil and he will flee!

Enjoy life in abundance💃💪

Fill your lamp with oil

Matthew 25 verse 4

“but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.”

Remember that day you confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour?  What happened at that very moment was that you took your lamp which had oil in it.  The lamp meant you were no longer living in darkness, it was the beginning of your journey to be the light of the world, to be a city set on a hill, a city that shines giving light and hope to others.

Continue filling you lamp

For us to remain a light and to keep on shining; we need to continue filling our lamps with oil by:

feeding our spirit daily with the Word,

praying without ceasing.

As we do this, the  Holy Spirit who dwells in us, will help us live a life fully pleasing to God, to walk worthy of the Lord and to be fruitful in every good work.

Our godly lifestyle will be like a lamp that continues to shine directing others to God through Jesus Christ.

Your God will be our God

They will end up saying “We want your God to be our God.”  Yes, when we invite them to church or to our small groups prayer meetings; they will say “I was glad when they said to me; let us go into the house of the Lord.”

Let us not grow weary but keep our lamps full of oil and shining continually!

Do not delay, choose life today; choose Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and Life.

Father God thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ who came to die for the sin of the world.

Jesus Christ today I repent of my sins.  I choose You to be my Lord and Saviour.  Walk with me Lord as I begin my life as a new creature!

Fill me with the Holy Spirit and I will begin to speak in with other tongues as the Spirit gives me utterance!

Fear not

As the earth is covered by darkness and the wicked one seems to have come out in full force spreading illness and death among the people; those who trust in God are not shaken, they are steadfast and immovable knowing that God is still in control.

This is the time for us as the children of God to be the light of the world by:

  • being courageous and strong; not being afraid nor dismayed for the Lord our God is with us whereever we go (Joshua 1:9). Let people look at us and say ” I want their God to be my God ” as they watch us remaining strong, courageous and in faith even when everybody else speaks fear;
  • praying without ceasing knowing that He that is with us is greater than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).
  • We pray for those who may be infected or may be related to someone who is infected by coronavirus:
  • We speak life over them, we declare that they shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17). This sickness is not unto death but it is for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified (John 11:4). Jesus Christ went to the Cross for your sickness and carried your pains, He rose again to give you abundant and everlasting life. By His stripes you were healed! By faith receive your healing now!
  • As you may lying on that hospital bed or you have been quarantined somewhere else, speak healing over your body, say:

“Sickness is not my portion, you virus, you do not belong to this body, out now! The resurrection life of Jesus my Saviour runs through my body. Thank You Jesus Christ for the divine healing!

No weapon formed against all of us who trust in the Lord shall ever prosper! God has charged His angels to watch over us.

We sprinkle ourselves with the powerful blood of Jesus and call upon His Name, declaring divine health and divine healing over our lives! His Name will never lose power and it is above the name coronavirus or any other name!

Fear not child of God!

If you have not yet received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour; you may do it now and become a member of the family of God. Jesus said “…unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).

Let’s pray:

“Lord Jesus, I humble myself before You, asking for forgiveness for all my sins. Thank You for going to the cross for me and giving me righteousness and eternal life.

Today, I receive You as my Lord and Saviour. Help me to walk worthy of the Lord God, fully pleasing Him all the days of my life”.

Lord, you said You will give Your Spirit to those who ask, I therefore ask that You fill me with the Holy Spirit and I begin to speak in the heavenly language as the Spirit gives me utterance (Luke 11:13; Acts 5:32 & 2:1-4).

If you have prayed this prayer, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God for you will not see the second death. Hallelujah!

Information vs Revelation Knowldege

Reading the Bible may lead to two different outcomes depending on the relationship the reader has with the living God:

This type of knowledge is acquired through thoroughly reading the Bible from the book of Genesis to Revelation.  One may read all these books of the Bible even more than once.

This person may have so much knowledge that he can use it to other people through writing books, explaining certain verses or scriptures , teaching or even becoming a preacher/pastor.

His knowledge is based and limited on what he has been reading over a period of time.

The Pharisees had this type of knowledge of the Mosaic Law.  They had so much information knowledge but they lacked revelation knowledge. This lack led them not to discern and see the Messiah (Jesus Christ) they had been reading about and waiting for when He eventually was in their midst.

To acquire this knowledge, one needs to:

(a) read and study the Scriptures daily but very importantly, one needs to have relationship with the living God through Jesus Christ.

This relationship is acquired through believing and receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour; the moment you receive Jesus, the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) come and “dwell in you”.  One of the purposes for dwelling in you is for Him to “teach you all things” (John 14:17, 26). All things means all things and the most important of them all is the Word.

When you read the Bible, that is, the Word, you are actually reading Christ Jesus Himself (John 1:1, 14).  As you read and study, the Holy Spirit who now dwells in you, will help you to acquire knowledge through the revelation of Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:11-12).

Your reading will not be like reading any other book.  The Spirit of God, who has now become your Helper, will reveal the mystery which is Christ to you ( Ephesians 3:3-6).

In other words, you get much deeper knowledge than what is written in black and white.  The Bible comes alive to you.  God Himself speaks with you through His Spirit!

Even when you speak the Word through preaching and otherwise, you speak what God has revealed to you! You speak mysteries of God, touching the hearts of people and leading them to Jesus their Saviour rather than filling their minds with the self-acquired information knowledge.

(b)  As mentioned above, this knowldege is acquired through reading the Word.  The Holy Spirit (Spirit of God) will only help you if you spend time reading, studying and meditating on the verses or Scriptures of the Bible.

May I just mention that growing up going to church, being a staunch member of the church or even having a high position in church does not mean you have a relationship with God.

The only way to have such a relationship is through salvation.  This means you need to believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour; that God raised Him from the dead and you need to confess that belief with your mouth.  The moment you confess with your mouth, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Say with your mouth what you believe. It will be as you have spoken (Mark 11:23).

May the peace of God, the Father of our Lord Jesus be with you!
